4 medals for Bitforge at the Best of Swiss Apps Awards 2022
On November 2, the crème de la crème of the Swiss mobile app industry came together for the annual Best of Swiss Apps Awards. This year, we entered two apps from our AR platform Yago – and were very successful! We also became the most successful agency of the last 5 years. But first things first.

Yago: The augmented reality platform from Bitforge
Our more than ten years of experience in developing augmented reality software for a large number of Swiss companies repeatedly leads us to ask: “Why isn’t this actually available as a product? There must be a way to implement AR easily without having to turn it into a project!” The idea of taking this into our own hands was born.
Now, two years later, we are uniting three different AR applications under the umbrella of our AR platform Yago. Two of them saw the light of day last year and faced off against the national competition at this year’s Best of Swiss Apps Awards. With success.

Yago Scenes wins 2 awards
Yago Scenes is the augmented reality-based helper for sales representatives. Using the mobile and tablet app, sales consultants can place products in AR, set up rooms, create various versions and save them permanently in the room. This means that the furnishing variants are recognized on the next visit and the rooms created are loaded. Yago Scenes can be downloaded from the App Store and Play Store and tested free of charge.
This concept also convinced the jury, which awarded Yago Scenes 2 medals:

2 medals for Yago Assistance
Yago Assistance is the secure, simple AR remote support solution for companies with high demands on the security of their data. In times of rising energy prices, many companies are trying to limit the amount of travel by their employees and avoid flights whenever possible. AR-based remote support is a valuable aid, especially for industrial companies. With Yago Assistance, experts can communicate with technicians in the field via video call and guide them to carry out repairs or service work by setting pointers in AR and drawing freely in the room.
