We are pleased to present two interesting projects that we were able to realize on behalf of Bühler AG.
Both projects have the same theme, a modern mill equipped with Bühler Group machines. However, they are fundamentally different from each other. The first project is a mobile game with a competitive business simulation, the other a virtual reality experience of a mill that only exists on the map.
Milling Game
A business game that focuses on the complex machines and processes used in a flour mill in an entertaining and informative way.
Bühler Group employees should deal with the everyday challenges of a modern flour mill in a competitive environment and get to know the machines and flour production processes.
Mill VR model
A 3D system visualization created from CAD data makes it possible to experience a virtual space using Oculus Rift. The visualization is supported by a backdrop of machine noises and a deliberately simple colour palette. The spaces and dimensions of the complex industrial plant thus become an impressive virtual reality experience. Using the Oculus Rift DK2 glasses, we demonstrate future possibilities for tools for planning and communicating industrial projects – because being able to experience a complex industrial plant virtually during the planning phase has many advantages.
