Gartner confirms our pioneering work
The IT industry and market research company Gartner has published the latest edition of its annual report on Mobile Application Development Platforms. We see that our decision to use Xamarin as a central cross-platform technology has been positively confirmed.
In its two-dimensional “Magic Quadrant” evaluation model, Gartner has highlighted Xamarin since 2013, primarily for its exceptionally complete vision. In this year’s report, however, the “Ability to Execute” was also rated highly, i.e. ultimately the feasibility of the intended solution and its practical relevance. We fully share this assessment and see Xamarin as an excellent solution for developing versatile apps in a common and highly developed programming language that run natively on-device.
Gartner praises Xamarin’s emerging partnerships with Microsoft, IBM and SAP, for example, which make the platform a powerful ecosystem for the development and operation of mobile apps. In addition, with Forms, Xamarin now also provides a standardized tool for cross-platform user interfaces that are translated into native elements at runtime: 3 for 1, Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
We are convinced that Xamarin should be the first choice for apps in the enterprise and consumer sector even more often and are proud to be the first provider of Xamarin mobile developments in Switzerland since 2011.
