Native app development

In some app projects, it is the better choice to develop some components or the entire app natively, i.e. with Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android. Possible reasons for this are:

This makes it easier to implement platform-specific or hardware-related features.
As soon as devices other than smartphones, such as smartwatches, Chromecast or CarPlay, are involved, we rely on native technologies.
Native apps can offer better performance thanks to direct hardware and system access, which is particularly relevant for graphics-intensive or computing-intensive applications. For classic business apps, the difference is often negligible.

Web apps / PWAs

Web or app? Why not both? Progressive web apps form a bridge between the web browser and the app store, making your software usable for both desktop and mobile users. Another advantage of progressive web apps is that you can still make them available in the App Store if required.
