Fresh for the new year is the app for personal health. MobilMed is – as the name suggests – a medical guide and helper for on the go. Together with the company Pro Medicus GmbH, we created and developed the MobilMed app, which offers all users access to information about specialists, medication and various health topics. MobilMed was developed using the Monotouch framework, which makes it easy to port to other platforms. In addition, this technology has the advantage that the operation and user interface correspond to the platform standards, which in turn guarantees smoother operation of the app. We are one of the first companies to have successfully implemented this technology several times.
The application consists of various sections, all of which offer the user various advantages in dealing with the Swiss healthcare system or personal information on medicines and GPs. The news section provides interesting information on the topic of health, healthcare or generally important news for patients or people interested in healthcare. At the heart of the app are the doctor search and medication features. With the help of the search function, the user can search directly for various doctors from a wide range of specialties. Directly by name or location, or by specialty and subject area. Using location recognition, it is also possible to display all medical institutions in the immediate vicinity. There are many medications. It is often easy for patients to lose track of them. Or the user has a medication at home, but no longer knows what it was actually good for because the package insert and the box have been missing for a long time. With the MobilMed app’s medication directory, this is no longer a problem.
