Imagine Future Day
The International Fantastic Film Festival in Neuchâtel attracts numerous visitors every year. As part of the festival, the Imagine the Future seminar took place on July 6, 2011, which focused exclusively on games, and in particular, of course, on Swiss games.
Orbital was of course also part of the party! Not only with a poster, but also live to play on the iPads on display. Orbital has not only been downloaded over 70,000 times in the AppStore, it has also won several awards around the world. Recently, our game was also mentioned in the New York Times as one of eight apps worth having on your smartphone. We are therefore naturally very proud that Orbital is now also being exhibited in Switzerland as part of the International Fantastic Film Festival.
Imagine the Future was therefore not only an event for interested parties from all over Switzerland, but also a small meet & greet for games developers. Almost all Swiss developers and designers were present and presented their work during the vernissage and the exciting presentations. Of course, we also took away a large portion of inspiration from Imagine the Future and are excited to see what fruit the event will bear in the Swiss games industry.
