Statement on eZurich

Michael Kägi, our Chairman of the Board of Directors, attended eZurich from January 20 – 22, 2011. During the workshop, which lasted several days, leading representatives of the Swiss IT industry discussed how Zurich can be shaped into a successful IT location.

Bitforge also took part in the ideas competition with the proposal to better promote young talent in the IT industry. This idea was also well received during the workshop with leading figures from the industry.

Overall, the Swiss IT and communications sector (ICT) came to the conclusion that more start-ups are needed. In other words, more young talent and therefore more work permits for foreign professionals.
