Virtual reality for the Gotthard Base Tunnel opening
We have worked hard and can now proudly present a wonderful virtual reality experience around the Gotthard Base Tunnel. Virtual reality makes possible what would otherwise be difficult to grasp. The incredible dimensions of the tunnel are almost impossible to grasp, only when you can see the tunnel in the context of the region and the mountains under which it runs do you begin to understand what the tunnel’s builders have achieved. We wanted to highlight this achievement.
Virtual Gottardo is a virtual reality experience for Google Cardboard and Samsung GearVR. For visitors to the celebration on June 4 in Erstfeld and Biasca, Cardboards are available on site as well as GearVRs with pre-installed Virtual Gottardo. Of course, you can also explore the region with and around the tunnel from home with or without virtual reality.
