Place virtual furniture in your own home
For the furniture group Pfister, we developed an app that was groundbreaking in 2010—something that didn’t yet exist in Switzerland at the time. Take a photo of your living room and place virtual furniture from the Atelier Pfister collection into the real space—with correct perspective in 3D. Today, this technology is known as augmented reality. Then as now, we are highly motivated to contribute to the market development of virtual and augmented reality.

The app allows users to place digital furniture within their own homes. Customers can view, measure, and position Pfister furniture in its intended location. The app features approximately 70 items from various home furnishings categories and offers additional features such as design information and store locators.
The added value for users is clear: Instead of laboriously measuring rooms and furniture, augmented reality provides a reality check before making a purchase.
