Strickhof is the competence center in agriculture, food and home economics and creates a head start through innovation and networking.
With the aim of communicating this competence leadership to the outside world, we collaboratively designed a mobile app, which we implemented with a sophisticated tech stack.

The Strickhof app is the practical companion for farmers and all further education customers. Whether on campus or at home: the versatile feature set with AR navigation at the Strickhof locations, fully customizable content hub and expert chat offers the target group practical added value in every situation.
In a multi-part workshop series, we created a balanced, detailed concept for the app that took all personas into account. Thanks to the user-centered approach of the collaborative UX design method, we were able to set a clear focus and create added value for the target group.
When designing the app, we consistently followed the approach that the application should be seamlessly integrated into the existing CI and the existing channels, but still have its own identity. This was achieved through a color scheme that takes into account the various usage contexts and ensures ease of use with established UX patterns.
In order to guarantee high performance with efficient implementation and modularity for future expansion stages, we relied on a combination of a Django backend and a progressive web app (PWA) implemented with Vue.js.
